My name is Chasidy Miles.
I’m a policy strategist and economic development professional who designs programs that expand access to affordable housing, prevent displacement, and cultivate community.

Designing proactive solutions to keep homes safe and habitable, from a $14M lead hazard abatement initiative to a citywide rental inspection program ensuring every unit meets basic health standards.

Creating strategies that keep residents rooted, including anti-displacement frameworks, grant-funded preservation programs, and technical assistance for local governments.

Building capacity through public education, from youth advocacy curriculum design to resource hubs and social media campaigns that reach thousands of residents.
Housing Consulting Services Program
In 2024, I worked with Tim Davis to create and launch a consulting initiative serving over eight cities across San Mateo County, intended to provide technical assistance and support capacity building for local jurisdictions.
My work is guided by my lived experience of housing precarity and a “4 P’s” Framework to ensure residents don’t just stay, but thrive, in place.
Creating new affordable housing opportunities through zoning reform, financing tools, and public–private partnerships that meet the needs of growing communities.
Safeguarding renters from displacement with tenant protections, habitability standards, and fair enforcement practices that keep housing stable and secure.
Maintaining and reinvesting in existing housing stock to prevent loss of affordable units, protect public health, and extend the life of communities’ most important assets.
Going beyond stability to promote upward mobility, connecting residents with workforce development, small business support, and pathways to build wealth where they live.

Inventive, dependable, and proactive are the first adjectives that come to mind when I think of Chasidy. She is as great a person as she is a team player.
I worked with Chasidy for two years…I was particularly impressed by her ability to handle tense situations and effectively manage stakeholders.
